The main purpose of an RHFAC rating is to determine whether a person with a disability can:

● Independently and safely arrive at your site via either municipal transit, a vehicle, or as a pedestrian, and safely approach your building entrance.

● Independently enter your buildings main entrance.

● Get information regarding building services, private units, doors, and with associated wayfinding.

● Access all areas, floors, and services within the building in a meaningful way.

● Independently and safely use the washroom facilities.

● Independently exit the building in case of an emergency.
